Rental Terms and Conditions
Rental provided by Rent Gulf Carts, LLC.
Terms and Conditions provided via both electronic delivery (e-mail PDF) and print at time of rental. Terms and Conditions agreement must be signed by all parties who will operate the vehicle.
Golf carts are electric and must be charged daily
Single charge range will vary based on a number of factors (i.e., your speed and the number of passengers). You must charge the cart after use (each day). You may leave the cart plugged in when you are not charging. A common extension cord will be provided.
Operation under the influence of alchohol or any other controlled substance strictly prohibited
Operation, or suspected operation, of a Rent Gulf Carts, LLC vehicle under the influence of alcohol or any other controlled substance will result in an immediate termination of rental without refund.
The rental may be terminated at any time if an operator is suspected at all to be impaired or operating in a matter considered to be unsafe.
Minimum Driver Age is 21 Years
All drivers must be approved by Rent Gulf Carts, LLC before operating the vehicle. All drivers must be atleast 21 years of age at the time of rental commencement.
Active Personal Auto Insurance Policy Requirement
All vehicle operators must carry an active full-coverage personal auto insurance policy. Proof of insurance must be presented at the time of rental commencement. The policy must remain active during the entire rental period.
Providing Rent Gulf Carts, LLC with your insurance information DOES NOT guarantee insurance coverage. It is the Renter's sole responsibility to ensure liability coverage and property damage with the renter's auto insurance company PRIOR to signing the rental agreement.
It is NOT the responsibility of Rent Gulf Carts, LLC to ensure that the Renter's auto insurance covers the rental use of a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV), golf cart, or other vehicle.
Renter is responsible for ALL liability and damages that may result while operating a Rent Gulf Carts, LLC street legal golf cart, also known as a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV), as defined under the Florida Statute Chapter 320.01. The valid and collectible Liability Insurance and PIP of any authorized rental driver is primary for the limits of liability and personal injury protection coverage required by SS.324.021 and 627.736, Florida Statutes.
Vehicles are for on-road use only
- Rent Gulf Carts, LLC vehicles are for road use only. It is illegal to operate the vehicle on a road with a speed limit of 35mph or greater.
- Rent Gulf Carts, LLC vehicles are not permitted on sidewalks, beaches, or any other off-road location.
Renter is responsible for securing all personal items
You (the Renter) are responsible for securing all personal items. Do not leave ANY personal or business items in the vehicle. Rent Gulf Carts, LLC will not be held responsible for replacing, recovering or otherwise compensating for any personal items.
Renter is responsible for securing vehicle
You (the Renter) are responsible for securing the vehicle when in-use or not in-use. The keys to operate the vehicle must never leave the immediate and observable possesion of the primary renter and authorized driver.
Right of Refusal and Right of Termination
Rent Gulf Carts, LLC reserves the right to refuse any individual approval to operate the vehicle.
Rent Gulf Carts, LLC reserves the right to cancel the rental at any time if any of the terms of this agreement are deemed or believed to have been violated. A full or partial refund for any prepaid remaining rental period may be offered at the sole discretion of Rent Gulf Carts, LLC. That refund may either be returned to the source payment method or provided in the form of a credit for future use at Rent Gulf Carts, LLC.
